What is Simple Worship Ministries?
This ministry seeks to encourage the heart of a follower of Jesus. It is our desire to see a recapturing of the essence of corporate worship – an encounter with God - through any appropriate medium. We will encourage this simple purpose through:
• worship services
• concerts of praise & worship
• seminars & preaching
• web resources
• song writing, arranging & recording

Who is Brian Blackburn?
Raised in Columbus, Ohio, Brian is a graduate of Cedarville University and nearing completion of his Master’s Degree from Liberty University. He has been playing piano since he was 5 years old, writing his first song when he was just 13. Classically trained in piano, guitar and vocal performance, music has played a central role in Brian’s personal and public worship expression.
Brian’s ministry background has included several roles in leading worship, communications and administration in a wide variety of settings including three different church plants and ministering faithfully at churches and in groups ranging in size from 50 to 5,000 people. He has also served two churches through challenging and exciting periods of worship and leadership transition. With 10 years of pastoral experience and over 15 years of leading worship through bands, choirs, orchestras and the arts, he is committed to leading people to praise God with great celebration and at other times through quiet expressions of dependence. He believes strongly in the power of the spoken and sung Word of God and is convinced that the focus of a simple worship expression should be drawn from the direction and conviction of the Scriptures.
